We learned about how Jesus was savagely crucified for our sins. We learned that we cannot trust our own hearts (Jeremiah 17:9) and that our sins earned us death (Romans 6:23). We learned that gay men are not to be trusted and that we should never, ever have sex unless we are married to a nice Christian girl. There was a lot of gay bashing and slurs and epithets used at the expense of the scapegoat du jour, maybe Hollywood one week and Washington the next. It was ironic because our uniforms were pretty gay.
I have seen some and heard campfire stories about some as well. I think of Pensacola Christian College or Piedmont Baptist. I think of Bob Jones or Oral Roberts U.
