Christopher Adams provided detailed briefs of Marshall Court cases after 1815, and several of his memoranda on the Court's work have proved invaluable. Toward the end of the project, some additional briefing and memorandum preparation was undertaken by Alexia Pittas, who has also done extensive bibliographic searching on the various decisions and topics discussed. Professor Henry Joseph Bourguignon of the University of Toledo College of Law provided a careful critical reading of the materials in chapters 1 and 6.
