The WWIC 2010 demand papers attracted forty five submissions from greater than 25 international locations and every contribution was once topic to thorough peer evaluation by means of famous int- nationwide specialists that acted as individuals of the Technical application Committee. the choice procedure led to sixteen permitted papers, which have been thematically grouped into five technical classes. the key subject matters of WWIC 2010 have been cooperation, administration of multimedia site visitors, advancing IEEE 802.11, cognitive optimization, mesh and multi-hop networks, safety, signaling, regulate, and instant sensor networks.

11a (4 pilots for 48 carriers), and WiMax (8 pilots for 256 carriers). Note that a single pilot tone can be shared by multiple frequency bands. On the receiver side, the pilot tone is filtered and used to estimate the channel to resynchronize the master and assisting nodes signals before combining. We use an over-sampling rate of 4 samples per bit. Figure 7, summarizes the performance of PMRC when simulated with the Matlab Simulink environment for M = 5. The simulation results confirm that significant gains can be achieved by combining the master data with the two strongest assisting nodes.

1. I-VOP of MPEG-4 encapsulated within IP packets As illustrated in Figure 1, the start code (0x000001B6) within the MPEG-4 header is used to determine the beginning of an I-VOP frame. Unfortunately, the start code exists only in the first IP packet after segmentation. Thus, to reassemble all the segmented IP packets into the original I-VOP frame, a receiver will have to examine the 32-bit RTP (Real-time Transport Protocol) timestamp of every IP packet, for the packets belonging to the same VOP frame all possess the same RTP timestamp.

The remainder of this paper is organized as follows. In Section 2, we introduce the encapsulation of MPEG-4 VOP frame within an IP packet. In Section 3, we present the proposed stream splitting and merging (SSM) scheme with dual Mobile IP tunnels. In Section 4, the implementations of the SSM scheme on Linux platform is described, and the experimental results are discussed. Finally, we conclude this paper in Section 5. 2 VOP in MPEG-4 Different from the traditional encoding scheme, a video picture in MPEG-4 [14] is divided into many different video objects (VO).
